What is Bing Ads and how does it work?

Bing Ads is a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising platform that allows businesses to display ads on the Bing search engine and its partner networks. Advertisers create campaigns with specific budgets and target audiences, and then create individual ads with headlines, descriptions, and images or videos. When a user searches for keywords related to the advertiser’s campaign, their ad has the chance to be displayed along with the search results. If the user clicks on the ad, the advertiser pays a fee to Bing Ads. The platform offers various features and tools to help advertisers optimize their campaigns and track their performance. Bing Ads is similar to other PPC advertising platforms such as Google Ads.

There are two ways to show up on Bing, Yahoo, and AOL. The first way is for free, which is called an organic listing. The second way is paid, which is called a paid search listing. Bing Ads, now known as Microsoft Ads, is the marketing platform we use to help you show paid search listings in the search results that are most relevant to your business. The difference between organic listing and paid search listings are simple, one you pay for, and you can start showing up for almost immediately, and the other is free, by earning that listing.

The free listings route is often referred to as SEO, or search engine optimization. This tactic takes sound strategy, consistent execution, and a lot of time. Search engines don’t just show your business in search results automatically. This is a long-term game.

With Bing Ads management we are able to show your business in search results that matter most to your business almost instantly. We built the strategy to strategically place your ads in the proper spots, and then you pay Microsoft any time someone clicks on your ad. As mentioned, we can help you show up almost instantly, so there is no waiting. You can increase branding, traffic, conversions, and revenue instantly. Also, paid listings live above the free listings, so you can reach the top of search engines with this strategy.

What does it look like on Bing?

Below is an example of a search results when we searched for “best ice cream in Ohio”. The very first result is for Magnum Ice Cream, which is a paid listing. Magnum Ice Cream is paying Bing to be there. It’s important to note that they did not pay anything for me to see their ad. I did not click on their ad. They only pay if someone clicks on it. Now think about your business. We can help you show up there for searches that are relevant to your audience.

Why Bing Ads Management Matters

Many companies believe they should give all their attention to Google Ads. While we see the benefit of having a solid Google ads strategy, we also think other opportunities could make more sense for your growing business. Google Ads are highly competitive, which can quickly drive-up cost per clicks (CPCs), making your budget not stretch as far. With Bing Ads, you have more control, less competition, cheaper CPCs, and more control over search demographics.

When it comes to your marketing strategy, we believe no stone should be left uncovered. We tailor our approach to Bing Ads based on data and analytics about your specific brand. By making intelligent, educated, and informed decisions, we can maximize your marketing spend to get your business in front of the right audiences.

Should you invest in Bing Ads PPC?

We believe that Bing Ads should always have a place in your marketing strategy if there is the proper search demand on Bing, Yahoo, and AOL. Why does search demand matter? Well, if people are not searching for the product or services you offer or searching for other relevant things that would indicate that they are a good audience to market to, Bing Ads might not be the approach. With that in mind, we can help you understand the search demand across these search engines and what the opportunity looks like for your business. We will never sell you on a program that we don’t think is worth pursuing, or at least testing.

Are we just another Bing Ads Agency?

We don’t think so. Search engine marketing, which includes Bing Ads, now known as Microsoft Ads, is at the core of what Mosaic eMarketing is. 90% of our business is built on this service offering and it’s the strategy we leverage to drive the most impressive results. On average we are achieving 220% higher click through rates and 245% higher conversion rates then industry benchmarks.
